Their special guest is the amazing Jools Holland saxophonist Derek Nash. Apart from the phenomenal success of Jools Holland, Derek has also had rave reviews with his other very successful projects including Sax Appeal, Acoustic Quartet, Funk Experience and Picante Latin Bands. Derek has performed several times with The Drawtones, recorded, produced and performed on their “Down the Line” album. Derek along with The Drawtones leader and organist Rod Pooley wrote 4 of the original tracks on the new album. The remaining 6 tracks are wonderfully arranged jazz and funk organ classics.

Tonight’s musical influences will feature Jimmy Smith, Jimmy McGriff, Brother Jack McDuff, Lou Donaldson, George Benson, Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock and many more…
