Glass Etc, was possibly Britain's largest antique and 20th century glass shop, owned by the Antique Roadshow's glass specialist, Andy McConnell and his wife, Helen. Our huge stock includes most forms of glassware, from decanters and glasses through vases, sculptures and lighting. We also stock a wide range of architectural ironmongery, furniture and furnishings. We avoid the 'do-not-touch' atmosphere of old fogey antique shops. Chairs are provided to take the weight off your feet. Tea and coffee are offered when things are quiet and the music tuned just loud enough to allow discreet conversations. Take your time: we won't bamboozle you. However, if you need guidance or background information, we'll be pleased to do out best to help. We are situated beside the entrance to the town's largest car park - £1 all day.
